Eve Pouliot is Full Professor of Social Work at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). She holds the Canada Research Chair ZENITH in Youth, Disasters and Social Justice and is co-holder of the UQAC–Cégep de Jonquière Research Chair on the Life and Health of Young People (VISAJ). She is a regular member of the Centre de recherche universitaire sur les jeunes et les familles (CRUJeF), the Centre de recherche Jeunes, familles et réponses sociales (JEFAR), the Réseau Inondations InterSectoriel du Québec (RIISQ) and the Centre intersectoriel en santé durable (CISD). Since 2015, her research has focused more specifically on youth and families in the aftermath of disasters. Funded by several granting agencies (SSHRC, CIHR, FRQ), this work has led to numerous publications and conference presentations and has had a significant impact on the settings concerned. She is also the recipient of three teaching excellence awards: the Prix de la ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur (2022); the 3M National Teaching Fellowship (2022); and the Université du Québec Network Teaching Excellence Award, Achievement category (2021).
