Gabrielle Dallaire

Master’s student in social work (UQAC)

Gabrielle Dallaire holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is a Master’s student in social work at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), under the supervision of professor Eve Pouliot. Her research interests focus on adolescent health. A FRQSC scholarship recipient, she is writing a thesis on adolescents’ perspectives on their own capacity for self-control and on the role they attribute to parental mediation practices in their digital media use in a post-pandemic context. Her thesis project is part of a larger study seeking to better understand screen use among adolescents in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. The project falls within the research program of the CRC ZENITH.
