Wigens Daniel

Wigens Daniel is a doctoral student in applied human sciences at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), under the supervision of professors Eve Pouliot and Christiane Bergeron-Leclerc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Université Notre-Dame d’Haïti, a master’s degree in social psychology from the Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France) and a master 2 in applied anthropology and ecology from the Université Catholique de Madagascar. His previous work has addressed a range of themes, including self-esteem and the social representations of HIV/AIDS and of people living with the virus. His current research interests focus on the mental health of students in Port-au-Prince, in the context of a prolonged political and security crisis.
