Gabrielle Ross

Gabrielle Ross is a doctoral student in education at the Faculté des sciences de l’éducation of the Université de Montréal (UdeM). She works under the supervision of Nadia Desbiens and the co-supervision of Mélanie Paré. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UdeM. She is particularly interested in positive youth development, young people’s experience and learning difficulties. Her project, which examines positive youth development among young people presenting characteristics of giftedness and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), earned her a FRQ scholarship. Within the ZENITH Canada Research Chair, she works primarily on a RIISQ-funded project that uses an open-innovation approach to restore the connection to nature among young people exposed to flooding.
