Noémie Potvin-Hudon

Noémie Potvin-Hudon is a Master’s student in social work at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), under the supervision of professor Eve Pouliot. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UQAC. Her research interests concern the mental health of young people exposed to natural disasters, particularly in contexts of social and territorial vulnerability. Her thesis seeks to better understand eco-anxiety among adolescents from rural settings who have been exposed to repeated flooding. Her project is part of an ongoing CRSH-funded study on screen use among adolescents facing multiple overlapping contexts of vulnerability in a post-pandemic period — understanding better in order to intervene better. Her work is aligned with the research themes of the CRC ZENITH.
