Pascale Jean

Pascale Jean is a doctoral student in applied human sciences at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), under the supervision of Eve Pouliot (UQAC) and Marie-Ève Blackburn (Cégep de Jonquière). She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work from UQAC. Her research interests focus on how digital technologies enter into the life trajectories of young people and their parents. She seeks to bring these trajectories into dialogue with one another in order to deepen what is known about the factors that facilitate and hinder the negotiation of screen use within parent–child dyads. Alongside her doctoral studies, she works as a research assistant on various CRC ZENITH projects concerning screen use among young people in a post-pandemic context.
