Master’s student in social work (UQAC)

Marie-Michelle Jean is a Master’s student in social work at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), under the co-supervision of professors Christiane Bergeron-Leclerc and Eve Pouliot. Her research interests focus primarily on young people, resilience and experiential intervention approaches, particularly those drawing on outdoor settings and blue spaces. Her thesis examines the transferability of psychosocial learning developed through school-based interventions. It is part of a RIISQ-funded project that uses an open-innovation approach to restore the connection to nature among young people exposed to flooding.
