
Ariane Blackburn is a Master’s student in social work at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). She is completing her studies under the supervision of professors Christiane Bergeron-Leclerc and Eve Pouliot. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work as well as a certificate in community intervention from UQAC. Her research interests focus on the impacts of the online instruction implemented during the pandemic on the mental health of university students. Her master’s thesis follows this line of inquiry, analyzing the repercussions of this mode of instruction in the context of COVID-19. She is conducting a secondary analysis of data collected as part of the IMPACTCOVID project, led by Christiane Bergeron-Leclerc and Danielle Maltais.
