Christiane Bergeron-Leclerc

Christiane Bergeron-Leclerc, Ph.D. in Social Work, is Full Professor at the Unité d’enseignement en travail social at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. A social worker by training, she practised in a psychiatric hospital, making mental health her field of choice. Building on her clinical background, her research focuses on psychosocial practices — those that complement direct intervention — that support the recovery process of people living with mental health problems or diagnosed mental disorders.
